A comprehensive educational resource for radiologic technology and medical imaging students, spanning from fundamentals to clinical practice.
"Accurate imaging begins with accurate knowledge."
RadXpedia Series Volume I brings together the core knowledge that radiologic technology and medical imaging students need, in one place. It aims to make learning easier by combining theoretical foundations with clinical practice.
Across seven parts — from radiologic physics to positioning, from radiation safety to clinical management — every topic is conveyed in plain language by authors who know the field firsthand.
First explore the seven parts and thirty chapters of Volume I, then browse sample positioning cards selected from the chapters. Click a part cover or a card to enlarge it.

These are just a few examples from Volume I; hundreds of projections, anatomy references and questions throughout the book are covered with the same level of detail. (Sample pages are shown in the book's original Turkish.)

The series is planned as a three-volume set covering different areas of radiologic education.
The foundations of the profession: history, radiologic physics, image quality, positioning, radiation safety, and clinical management.
Coming SoonCT, the cornerstone of cross-sectional imaging: scanner technology, principles of slice formation, scan protocols, dose optimization, and clinical applications.
PlannedA comprehensive reference on radiation-free MRI — from physics to sequence logic, from patient safety to clinical protocols.
PlannedThe shared effort of a team that knows the field and blends experience with academic rigor.
With more than a quarter century of hands-on experience, he witnessed radiology's transformation from analog film to digital detectors firsthand, at the console. His main areas of expertise include MRI, CT, conventional radiography, mammography, and interventional angiography. With a degree in Health Management, he brings both a technologist's and a manager's perspective.
For more than eighteen years he has worked in MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, and fluoroscopy. He leads projects at group-hospital scale in PACS, HL7, radiology information systems (RIS), and telemedicine applications. He brings to the book a systems-thinking vision of radiology's digital transformation.
Starting out as a radiologic technologist in the field, he completed his bachelor's degree in nursing and his master's in nursing management, gaining a holistic perspective. For nine years he has been a lecturer in medical imaging and nursing. He brings the clear, instructive voice of an educator to the book.
